The ALCOGIENE™ HANDRUB is an alcohol-based handrub with WHO-recommended formulation. Health authority agencies such as Centers for Disease Control and Prevention United States (CDC), United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) and World Health Organisation (WHO) recommended alcohol based hand sanitizer of at least 60% and above concentration to ensure the effectiveness.

Our plant is also in the process of getting ISO13485 certification. Every batch of hand sanitisers produced are tested in ISO13485 accredited lab and Certificate of Analysis (COA) will be issued to confirm the alcohol concentration.

FDA and other health agencies have banned multiple products adulterated with methanol. ALCOGIENE™ HANDRUB utilities alcohol USP grade which is methanol free.

However, these tests DO NOT indicate the toxicity or banned substances in the products.

EN14476:2013+2015 – Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of virucidal activity in the medical area. (Test for virus killing properties including corona virus)
En 1040 – Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of the basic bactericidal activity (To test for bacteria killing properties)
EN 1275 Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of basic fungicidal or basic yeasticidal activity (to test for yeast killing properties)
USP 51 – Antimicrobial Effectiveness Test ( Preservative Challenge Test)
